Romans

I was reading a book on Ancient battles last night, and I figured out what was wrong with the Romans, other than the civil disputes. They didn't utilize their cavalry to it's best ability, and they couldn't defend against massive charges well. Cavalry is probably the strongest pre-automoatic-weapons weapon in the world. It is fast and the cavalry come down upon the men, so gravity quickens the blows. The Romans had cavalry and used it, but they depended mainly upon their foot legions. The Goths were not as disciplined as the Romans, but they had superior numbers, lending much weight to their charges. It's like a bowling ball, the Goths, hitting the pins, the Romans. The heavier the ball, or the bigger it is, the more force it strikes with, so more pins are knocked over. Now imagine if the pins were very close together. Then it would be easier to knock more pins over, because by hitting the first ones you would hit the last ones, in the formation that is. Thus, when the front line of the Roman infantry formation was hit, it fell back upon it's companions behind, driving them bakc as well. This confused the men and muddled their formations. This packed them together, meaning an attacking Goth could hurt more than one man with a stroke. In one battle against an oppenent with very good Cavalry, the romans were so packed together that they couldn'st move and some were crushed or suffocated. The men were so packed together that the dead didn't fall, they remained upright. Just a little mental fodder for you.

God and Posting

It's really been awhile since I've done a long God post. Well, I just realized that the wonderful feeling that I get when I'm worshiping is God's love filling me. I'm sure that some of you guys have already felt it. It was last Sunday that I first realized what I was feeling. It's pretty cool. Also, if my profile looks odd, that's because internet issues here made me get another profile and invite the new one to be an author on my blog. That's all. Good bye!

Love

Love is a wonderful thing. I enjoy it very much. God's love is the best. Isn't every good and perfect thing an extension of God's love? I have a question, we love God the way we do a very, very good friend, sorta? We don't love him the way we romantically love someone, right? You see, there's this girl up here, and I'm trying to balance my liking of her with how the bible says I should love God with everything I have. Any advice?

McDonald's

I've never really been a big fan of McDonald's, and what just happened in China won't help. Some lady got bit by a rat in a Mcdonald's. That is disgusting.

Lose My Soul

Right now I'm listening to a really good song by Toby Mac. It's called "Lose my Soul". The chorus goes:

I don't wanna gain the whole world
And lose my soul
I don't wanna gain the whole world
And lose my soul

I think that that this is one of the most powerful things I've heard in the last few months. It really sums up what the Christian's perspective of the world should be. Think about it.

K-Razy

Okay, some dude in Toronto got arrested for drunk driving. An unfortunate thing that happens on a semi-regular basis, unfortunately. Well, what kinda car was he driving? He was driving his mother's motorized wheelchair. K-Razy! I'm not sure what adjective you guys are using right now, but here is the insert point for it :________ !
