Winter

Winter is a great time of year. Christmas, hot chocolate, sledding, but snow kind of ruins it. I mean, shoveling snow is a real pain, especially if you wait til six weeks after it started falling to shovel your driveway. I have to use a spade to get the ice off my driveway. If you think snow is all fun and games, come give me a hand.

This year there is going to be a new face bendin' it like Beckham in North America. Becks himself! David Beckham recently signed a five-year deal with Los Angeles Galaxy. Toronto is also fielding an MLS team this year. This is Great!

I don't know about you, but I love blogs. I love posting my feelings. I especially love reading other's blogs. You guys bring up really good points and they make me think. Personally, I love that.

Change

I recently saw a video of some music guy giving a speech and in it he said that we need to treat musical gifts as a gift from God, and as soon as we do that we will get back to another "Golden Age". I was wondering if this, assuming that what he said is true, is the same way across the board. Maybe when we start feeling that same way about the gift of making TV shows, movies, books, comics, cards, action figures, growing food, etc., we might start excelling and doing better than we have done before. Just a little tidbit for you to chew on along with the rest of your mental cud. Have a nice day.

Brett Favre

So another football season comes to a close, the regular season that is. The Packers still haven't won their second Super Bowl with Brett Favre. Will they ever win it? More importantly, is Brett going to play another season? Cast your votes here, and I will post the results in February and weather or not he plays another season when he makes his decision.

Happy new year! It is now 2007! Time for a psychological stimulant about time! You probably think that time travel is a pretty cool thing. Have you ever thought about going forward into the future, and learning that pollution was solved. So you teleport back to your time, and you tell everyone that pollution is solved in the future. So everyone stops worrying about pollution and doesn't do anything about it, assuming that it's the job of the future humans. What if it was through the actions of the people in your time that pollution was solved, and the future humans did nothing? You have now messed time up, in addition to the planet and the overall health of its inhabitants. There is even more trouble in going back in time. Have you ever heard of the time paradox? That's what I'm talking about. Say you go back in time and accidently kill your father before he meets your mother? Then you can't be born. That means that you were never alive. So basically you disappear into some void. But if you never existed, than you coudn't have gone backin time to kill your father, so he is still alive, meaning that you are still alive, so that your father isn't alive, so you aren't alive, which means that your father is still alive, which means that you are still alive, which means that your father isn't still alive.... Get my point? Time is very dangerous.
