Busy
I just got an e-mail talking about how Satan wants to make Christians too busy to have a realationship with God. I think that's true. Most people are working or at school all day, and when they come home there's always a TV or a computer, or something just waiting to suck you in with endless waves of entertainment. Then when we decide to make some free time, and go out for lunch, or something, there's un-Godly music playing there, there's a game on TV, stuff everywhere. I think we need to make time to have nothing planned, so that we can spend time with our families, spend time with God, and relax our senses from their constant bombardment of messages. Just a quick thought. I know life is frustrating and fast-paced, but God made provision for rest, on the Sabbath. I know that the Madden's wrote a post about not doing anything except stuff with family on Sunday. It sounded like it was working well for them. I wish I could cut out some of my spare time, which I have too much of, and mail it to your guys so you would have some spare time. Anyways, have a nice day. Jesus loves you. Peace

Forgiveness
I just realized today what a wonderful witness forgiveness can be. today i accidently rolled over the back of some kids shoe on my bike. It was an accident, and i said sorry, but he said "what the (fill it in yourself). Then I realized that asking for forginveness is a bit of a foreign thing in this world. Most kids would rather swear at people than forgive them. And most kids would scream at that kid to get out of the way. Apoligizing, a natural and instinctual thing for Christians to do, has been thrust away by the world.

Halloween
Where did the name halloween come from? I know it means hallowed evening, but how did it turn into the devilish occurance it is now with a name like that? Where's the connection? And now for some poetry regarding the aforementioned day.
Toddlers is doggie suits
Four-year-olds in cowboy boots
Third grader with an axe
A fifth grader toting a bari sax
What is signified by this procession?
It's a holiday with a candy obssesion
It makes health insurers and parents too
Groan in distress till they turn blue
"There's too much candy" they all say
They all hate it in a passionate way
But it's the holiday of recommendation
From those who work in the dental profession

Packers
What a disappointment. Most of the Packer's team played well, except for that Jones rookie dude. Two Fumbles! That's why they lost. Brett Favre was superb. No I don't think he's on juice. I just don't. He kept the "Super Bowl" bears guessing. It was really neat to see how it worked. Anyways, I need a philosophical idea to talk about. Something other than the Packers. For starters, has anyone figured out what's normal yet?

Activity
it seems like there hasn't been much blogger activity lately. I've been checking lately, and I just get the sense that a lot of people are really busy. I feel "Alone", (echo). Brett Favre broke the record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Packers are 4-0!!!!!!
